Albrighton Swimming Pool is a unique outdoor swimming pool, first opened in 1970, located in the village of Albrighton, on the outskirts of Shropshire.
Heated to typically 26-29 degrees C, the pool is 15m long by 7m wide and situated in the grounds of Albrighton Primary School, Newhouse Lane.
The pool is open to the public, operated by a group of local volunteers – Albrighton & District Swimming Club – throughout the summer months.

At a time of some uncertainty, rising costs and continued financial pressures, the pool is an invaluable asset for the village and surrounding areas.
Thanks to the generous support of local businesses and partner agencies, thousands of visitors are able to enjoy our not-so-hidden gem, come rain and hopefully shine!
Year on year, the pool continues to grow in popularity – every season sees visitors who have discovered the pool for the first time, along those who fondly remember the pool in its infancy in the 1970s.
